Purpose
- To provide a clear process for learners to request a re-marking of their assessment if they believe that one or more grade indicators are incorrect.
Scope
- All NSA learners have the right to request a re-mark upon payment of the relevant fees.
Requesting a re-mark
- Students must request a re-mark within ten calendar days of the assessment results being released, regardless of when the student reviews their results.
- To initiate a re-marking request, students must email support@nationalsafetyacademy.co.uk.
- Upon receipt of your re-marking request, you will be required to pay a re-marking fee of £75 + VAT. This fee will be returned to you if the outcome results in your assessment grade being changed.
- The assessment will be anonymously re-marked by a different, independent assessor to ensure impartiality.
Outcome
- The result of the re-mark will be communicated to the student within ten working days of receiving the re-marking request.
- Following the re-mark, the grade may be changed, or remain the same. The revised grade will be considered final.
- If the re-mark results in a grade change, the re-marking fee will be fully refunded.
