You asked, we answered.

How will I learn?

National Safety Academy courses are designed to take you on a learning journey supported with real-life examples, case studies, videos, e-learnings and more. Our learning materials use everyday language that just makes sense - the first time you read it.

You can navigate through the course content in your learning portal online.

It's your learning journey, so do it your way.

When can I start?

Our courses are self-directed which means you can enrol and get started on any day, at any time.

How will I be assessed?

All National Safety Academy assessments are based on real-life tasks that you might have to undertake in a relevant job role. There's no need to hit 'buzz words' or figure out how to answer exam-style questions, just answer in the same way you would at work.

The number and type of assessments you are required to complete will vary by course.

How is my assessment graded?

Your assessment will receive either a 'Pass' or 'Refer' grade from the assessor.

We don't use an averaged points or percentage based system. You'll need to demonstrate you can competently complete every task you are given to a sufficient standard that would not give rise to risk of serious injury, death, or enforcement action.

Can I book on a face-to-face course?

National Safety Academy courses have been developed specifically with self-directed, distance learning in mind. At this time, we don't have any classroom-based learning partners.

What tutor support does NSA have?

You didn't think we'd make you go at it alone, did you? Our dedicated tutor support is available five days per week via the forums. Each course also has a weekly Q&A webinar led by your tutor, so you can ask questions (or post them anonymously!) to be discussed as a group.

Plus, with our awesome community forums you can ask and answer questions amongst your peers at any time.
